Custom Order Request Instructions

Customization allows customers to tailor products to their specific preferences, enhancing the overall experience and value of the purchase. This document outlines the essential steps and considerations for placing a custom order for handmade items with Handmade Gratitude.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  For all bar soap custom orders, allow 8 weeks for delivery.  Bar soap needs to cure at a minimum for 4 to 6 weeks.  The 8 week timeframe allows for time to inventory ingredients, schedule the making of the product, and allows for any challenges that may come up.

All other products, allow 3 weeks for delivery.

Pricing will vary depending on the Custom Order request.

How to Place the Custom Order

Using Contact Us (located in the footer of the website just about Custom Order tab) include the following information in the Comments sections:

1. Customer Name, email, and phone

2. Indicate if this is a local pickup or delivery.

2. Product Name

    Example:  The Balm for Beards

3. Product Specifications (Include design, color, formula, scent, and any additional elements to describe your custom order)

    Quantity, Size, design, formula, color(s), and any other specifics you desire

    Example: quantity 20, size 1.5 oz, formula lavender, color purple

4. Expected date for delivery (please see Important note above)

5. Any questions you may have

What to Expect

1. You will receive a confirmation response from Handmade Gratitude within 3 business days acknowledging the custom order request with a summary of the specifications provided, total cost of order, and a timeline for completion. 

It's essential to review this information carefully to ensure that all details are accurate.

2  After the confirmation response has been reviewed, a return email confirming the summary, specifications, and pricing are correct.  Once confirmation has been been sent and approved by the customer and Handmade Gratitude, any changes that may incur additional charges or jeopardize the deliver date will encounter additional fees set by Handmade Gratitude.

3. There will be ongoing communication during the production process.  Visuals may be included to ensure expectations are being met.

Payment Requirements

1. 1/2 down is expected at time of approval by customer and Handmade Gratitude.  This is non-refundable.

2. The remaining balance is due upon delivery including additional charges incurred due to changes made during the production of the product for the custom order.
